So, yeah, it has been awhile....

Wow, it was the middle of November since I posted last. My apologies but I have been extremely busy with my day-job of trucking around western Canada.

2008 Peterbilt 389 with a tridem load of lumber at the Coquihala Pass Rest Area. British Columbia, Canada

This is a 3 shot HDR of my truck on the eastern slope of the Coquihala Pass in British Columbia last week.

I haul mostly steel and agricultural machinery and parts from Oak Bluff, Manitoba and usually Hay or Lumber back again with my 2008 Peterbilt 389.

My getting back into 'Over-the-Road' trucking has been difficult to say the least. After being accustomed to being home every day to being home only on weekends takes quite a bit of adjusting... but, hey, I am a manly Canadian, I can handle it!

What's been going on, you ask?

As promised (last November...shhhh...) here is a photo of my finished mustache for Movember!

The last day of Movember 2012, the ;stache is as big as it's gonna get

The best part was shaving the thing off....

Chrysta Rae Scavenger Hunt news

We are also nearing the end of the +Chrysta Rae March 2013 Scavenger Hunt which, as usual, I have only 2 of 10 pictures filed thus far.One of these hunts perhaps I will get a full slate of 10 of 10... or not!

As for the long Holiday 2012 hunt it was amazing with a zillion fantabulous entries. Here are my four.

Santa entry to Chrysta Raes Holiday 2012 Scavenger hunt. Bad Santa, Bob Roy

Bob playing Bad Santa was my Santa entry

Entry to the 2012 Holiday Hunt for Christmas Song. I chose 'Grandma got run over by a reindeer'. Grandma was my Brother-in-law Bob and the reindeer was my faithful dog Charlie wearing his uber-cool antlers..

Movember is almost here

It's almost that time again when millions of normally clean-shaven faces start looking like they belong at a NASCAR track or Porn star convention.

Yes, I'm talking about Movember!

Each year starting November 1 and going until November 30 me and millions of men worldwide grow our 'staches out to support men's health issues particularly Prostate Cancer. While some duster growers get sponsors for cash to donate to their favourite Men's health Charity and others do it to spread the word, I am doing it to annoy my Wife...and spread the word. If you feel so inclined please feel free to drop a few bucks to Prostate Cancer Canada or any of your own fave charities.

My plan is to get my 90's lip rug grown and take a picture everyday of its magnificent progress to share on my Google+. It should be good.

GQ Gary

Can't wait!

Cheers everyone and if you see me on the street, don't be scared... it's for charity
